divide and conquer

Sometimes all it takes to complete what looks like a daunting task, is a partner in crime, a buddy to keep the pace going, or a person to whom you feel accountable. This has been reflected so strongly in our community since March. I love seeing the partnerships that have developed out of the need to lean on each other. The support, creativity, resources and skills that blossom out of these partnerships makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts.

But it’s not just the small businesses and organizations that need this community connection. Many of us are on our own and need that support as well in order to maintain our homes, independence, obligations and sometimes just sanity! With the pandemic constantly looming and restricting our ability to plan for the future, it is a common reaction to have anxieties triggered by seemingly unrelated projects. I certainly recommend tackling these situations together. I find this to be the common thread that ties together some of my recent requests.

This week at Wild Honey…..

We purge a basement of clothes and antiques filled with emotional family attachments, we set up a YouTube channel for a small arts organization looking to maintain that connection with their audience, and we delve into the rental market to research suitable options for a couple of clients looking to change their living arrangement.
